How to choose the right wire mesh?

First of all, the material or alloy must be determined. The factors that determine this are:

  • Nature of the products to be treated
  • Working temperature
  • Presence of possible contaminants

Secondly, the mesh size or opening must be determined, which is conditioned by:

  • Particles size
  • Its particle size distribution.
PLAIN
WEAVE
Wire crossover shape:
Each wire passes successively above
and below each wire that crosses it
with an offset of 1 wire for each cycle.

Qualities:

Optimal anchorage of the wires, precision and regularity, rigidity. Useful surface from 30 to 95%

Applications:

Precision sieving, industrial sieving. Direct filtration up to 25µm. #
Screen printing panels. Filter supports, protection.
Electrophysical applications.

TWILLED
WEAVE
Wire crossover shape:
Each wire passes successively above and below
each group of 2 wires that crosses it with
an offset of 1 wire for each cycle.

Qualities:

Maximum resistance in square mesh, good deformability.

Lower limit of useful surface: 18%.

Applications:

Precision sieving, industrial sieving. Direct filtration up to 20µm.#.

Drawing pieces.

RECTANGULAR
WEAVE
Wire crossover shape:
Identical to plain weave, depending on the orientation of the mesh,
it can be longitudinal or transverse

Qualities:

Large useful surface. The use of pre‐corrugated wires improves the stability of the
mesh.

Applications:

Filtration and screening

RECTANGULAR MESHES Request offer
CRIMPED
MESH
Features:
Mesh woven from pre‐corrugated wire at 3,5 o 7 points,
alternately, interleaving one above the other.

Qualities:

Good compromise stiffness‐stability of the mesh.

Manufactured in plate ensures
a high index of stiffness and stability.

Applications:

Filter support, screening.

Separation of spaces and decoration.

CRIMPED MESHES Request offer
PRE CRIMPED
MESH
Features:
Mesh that is woven starting from wire to which a partial ondulation
is applied, allowing to obtain extra‐strong meshes.

Qualities:

Precision, exceptional robustness, identical warp and weft weave.

Applications:

Filter support, screening, catalyst support, electrodes.

PRE CRIMPED MESHES Request offer
EGLA
MESH
Features:
Mesh woven from straightened wire
with a drawing at the points of union
of the warp with the weft.

Qualities:

Flat surface on one side of the mesh.

High precision and stability of the mesh. High rigidity.

Applications:

Filter support. Control sieving.

Applications in architecture and decoration.
