What is the difference between a certified sieve and a calibrated sieve?
A certified sieve meets the manufacturing specifications of the standard. A calibrated sieve has been individually verified against traceable reference standards and comes with a certificate containing its specific measurement data.
How often should I calibrate my sieves?
It depends on use and the applicable standard. Annual calibration, or calibration after a set number of tests, is generally recommended.
Which standards apply to laboratory test sieves?
The main standards are ISO 3310-1, ASTM E11, AFNOR NF X11-504 and BS 410. CISA manufactures in accordance with all of them.
Do you manufacture custom solutions?
Yes, we manufacture custom sieves, wire mesh and filter elements to the customer's specifications.
Do you offer technical service and repairs?
Yes, we offer remeshing, repair, cleaning and preventive maintenance of sieves and sieve shakers.
